Fit Me : Foundation Review

Whilst trying to maintain control of my stomach after being surprised with the viewing of a certain viral video that has scarred me forever and beyond, I thought what better way to distract my mind from the horrific imagery which will no doubtingly haunt my dreams tonight, with a foundation review (yey). 

I've always had tons of trouble when in search of a good foundation on the high street. None would match my skin tone, they were either too light or too dark never in between, which was incredibly annoying. With this past experience I got slightly scared of foundation shopping as I'd spend quite a lot of money on some, thinking they'd match my skin tone as it looked alright in the store but being horrified by how not alright it really was, also, some high street stores don't let you refund foundations, which is a bummer! So I just stuck to those cheap starter ones, 'Collection 2000 and Miss Sporty foundations' that came in those little tubes and instead of  a variation of different shades only 'light' 'medium' and 'dark' were available (which didn't bother me as 'medium' matched my skin tone) But as they were cheap, they didn't last very long, however I would recommend them to anyone wanting to try foundations for the first time and don't want to spend a lot of money.

 Up until recently I started to get more and more into makeup and I thought it was time I face my fear and go foundation shopping and buy a decent foundation that would last long on the skin and after seeing the (incredibly annoying) advert for the Fit Me range, pretty much everywhere I go, I thought I'd go and test it out. Off I hopped to my nearest Boots and conveniently they had a 3 for 2 offer on the range which was perfect as I got the complete set for about £13 (Horrah) and not to mention, the shade is perfect on my skin, double horrah!

The Fit Me range come in various colours and has foundations available for both undertones 'pinkish undertones and yellow undertones', which is brilliant as I am part of the yellow tones family and it seems there's a gap on yellow undertone foundations as I was never able to find a perfect match of foundation before, they were always pinky. The Maybelline people made our lives easier as well because when you found your shade of foundations, they'll give you the colour of the powder and concealer that will go with it as well, which is great. You don't have to wonder by the Maybelline section at Boots for a while just testing the seeing what concealer and powder is for you too. Well maybe you still should ...

I've been wearing the foundation for a couple of months now and I would definitely recommend it. 

It blends really well into the skin and is very long lasting. It has a very good coverage and if you're ones who enjoy the 'dewy' glow you would love this product. 

The foundation doesn't feel heavy, it's very light. It doesn't feel like you're wearing anything which is always a gooden, let the skin breathe!

The powder is lovely as well. I was a little bit sceptical at first though as it appeared extremely light, but don't worry, it comes out dark and really sets the foundation well and it doesn't lose the whole dewy-ness, instead it compliments the foundation and gives off a natural healthy looking shine. The powder isn't cakey either, the end results is a very natural finish. Double Aya points Maybelline.

And lastly, the concealer. The concealer is rather good. It hides my dark circles nicely and gives out a youthful finish. However, I don't think it's the best of concealers, I'm still sticking to my beloved Collection 2000 concealer 

Overall, I really liked this range and I sure will be sticking to this foundation for a while until I'm ready to embark on a new foundation adventure and go more high end. 

Another Year ... 2012

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

     2012 seemed to just flash on by didn't it? It feels like yesterday when I was at a party counting down from 10, already a little bit oo-haa-haa from some mysterious water looking substance, welcoming 2012 with a massive cheer and a rather embarrassing fall, and now, we're in 2013, I don't know about you, but I really dislike odd numbers. Like last year, I am doing a little Best Of post.. this is now my little blogs tradition YEY! Also, unlike last year, this year seemed to be very music orientated, twas hard narrowing things down, but here goes ... oh and remember when the world ended ? neither do I hahaha (I did write this post before the 21st so it'll be a bit awkward if the world really did end) ...

My current Favourites

I was debating on whether to include One Directions albums above, but not everyone excepts my love for the five boys - My friend is currently sitting in front of me shaking her head in shame when I confessed to having a private concert (on my ones) singing and dancing to their album, twas a good night that was

Jake Bugg - Favourite song : this was hard, It's between Lightning Bolt and Two Fingers . Don't you just love his some what old fashioned, Irish/Somerset country voice (how I'd describe it) His album is my music crush at the moment.

Loooky 'ere, Tay Tay and 1D has come to join the party, coincidence actually as Taylor has Swiftly taken Harry away from me, stylishly... see what I did there ;) and both their musics are on there...I don't even know where I was going with that. but Hey Ho,

Fun. : Some Nights - Favourite song : We are Young, This song just reminds me of summer 2012, good times, good times. If you haven't heard of it before, have you been living under a rock?

Mumford and Sons : Babel - Favourite song : Reminder . such a beautiful song. Like Jake Bugg, Mumford and Sons' music remind me of something you would of heard in an Irish Pub in the countryside back in the day, such beauty.

Films

I was rather disappointed with films this year, unlike last year, there wasn't many good, memorable films playing on the big screens, don't get me wrong, I went and saw a-hellavolot of films but I just didn't seem enjoy the majority, that or I forget that I'd even seen the film a few hours later, twas all rather meh

Perks Of Being a Wallflower : Beautiful film, made me weep like a baby. I wasn't very convinced with Emma Watson's american accent though, dunno if it was just me, but whatever, I liked seeing her out of the whole Harry Pots franchise, she pulled it off well also I loved the main character 'Charlie' such a cutie pie.

Five Year Engagement : I think I've seen this film a millions times now. I randomly went to watch it as we missed the last Magic Mike viewing so we were like okay, lets just go watch this, not having much faith in the film, as the trailer looked rather meh, but oh my, this was a good film, rather long though, but it made me chuckle.. a lot.

The Dark Knight : after the 4th time watching this film I finally understood what was happening at the beginning, I felt a bit silly when I finally got it, but this set my film expectations very very high, brilliant film and Anne Hathaway made an amazing cat woman.

21 Jump Street : Funny Funny FUNNY film! It made me so happy, was better than that other crappy film Channing Tatum was in this year *cough magic mike cough* 

Project X : If you've seen this, didn't it just make you want to have a party? I know I wanted to shake my tail feather and let my hair down, why wasn't I invited to this party? I actually had to wait for this to come out on DVD to watch it as SOME PEOPLE were not old enough to watch it in the cinema yet....

Skyfall : The name is Bond, James Bond. I think you all know, this is an awesome film, Whilst watching the Graham Norton Show a few weeks back when he had the actors on his lovely red sofa (where is she going with this they ask) I found the secret to finding your Bond Girls name, It's basically, your mothers maiden name and what you called your naughty bits when you were younger.

Spiderman could of been included, however, I didn't really enjoy it as much, don't get me wrong, it was good but  I was mainly focused on Andrew Garfield's bottom in that tight Spiderman suit and concentrating on his face, other than the going ons of the film. Oh and I was also too busy admiring Emma Stone, God I love her, total girl crush, such a babe.

Books

I do Judge books by their covers, well apart from 50 Shades of Grey (worst book ever) if I wasn't intrigued with what everyone was saying about that book and just saw the cover I would of probably not have bought it and I wish I didn't spend my money on all 3 books, such a waste of time and money. You might of guessed already that I never really enjoyed the books, the writing was horrible and the books themselves were extremely repetitive, but at least oestrogen filled females in the UK got us (slightly) out of the recession for buying the books, yaaay us! 

The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out Of The Window and Disappeared : annoyingly long title, but such a funny book.

Monday to Friday Man : A good chicklit, made me chuckle a little. This was one of those books I never wanted to finish reading but wasn't able to put down. Good story line, loved the characters! 

The Night Circus : Really is a marvellous book, Truly dazzling and imaginative. I read this in the summer, and I think  I stayed up until 5 in the morning reading it (finished it in a weekend, dedication), I obviously enjoyed it a bit too much, but who's there to judge aye.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower  : I made sure I read this before watching the film, and just like the film, beautiful, this is when I first fell in love with Charlie, such an amazing character, you really do feel connected to him in a way and feel what he feels.

From Notting Hill to New York ... Actually : I bought this because I loved the first book (from Notting Hill with Love Actually) and I really wanted to follow Scarlett's (protagonist) movie obsessed journey again.  Enjoyable read and such a cute ending. I enjoyed every moment. I want to read more on Sean and Scarlett Ali McNamara pleeeeease.

I'm so bad at reviewing books, mainly because if I get too into it, I might not be able to stop myself from spoiling it all hehe.

Author Of The Year : Lindsey Kelk

I only discovered this lady, accidentally, this year, a few months ago actually, whilst making a quick, book cover judging decision in Tesco for a long trip down to Brighton, but it was a bloody good decision I say as she's beaten my love for Sophie Kinsella (wot?!)

And did you actually think after writing a whole blog post on it, The Single Girls To Do List was not going to be part of this? I'm currently half way into I heart New York and already struggling to put it down. I am eyeing it ever so slyly whilst writing all this ;) 

Now if you don't know about the I heart series, it's an easy going, fun, enjoyable chicklit series that takes you on a journey with Angela Clark (main character) as she travels to gorgeous destinations, fleeing from her cheating boyfriend. I love me a good chicklit, I can't wait to read the rest! 

I don't think I really need to talk about The Single Girls To Do List seen as I did a whole blog post on it (here) twas a ravishing book.

Smell Me

Miss Dior/Valentina/Daisy/Jimmy Choo/Naughty Alice

If you haven't noticed already, clearly you won't make a good Sherlock Holmes, I am a massive fan of things that smell amazing ...  or people .. yes, I am that freak that will sniff a great smelling stranger in front of her in a line at Tesco, with no shame...okay maybe a little bit of shame, but don't tell me you won't try to vigorously breath a good smelling strangers scent in that little moment you share together before they toddle off to live their lives, thought so ;) ... But yes, whilst finally getting round to tidying and organizing my room today, I decided to procrastinate a little (meaning I have found a reason to tidy another day hehe) and write a lovely blog on my current perfume collection and I thought this would be a fair review as if you squint and see, most of the smelly goodness are nearly done for *tear tear* meaning I've obviously been enjoying my little scents, a little too much sometimes. RIP Jimmy Choo :(

I think I go a tad mental when it comes to applying perfumes, this could be because I went to an all girl secondary school, and if you too went to an all girl school, you'll probably understand that smelling good was the key to avoid any bitching torture throughout the 5 ...err glorious years of an all girl secondary school, as well as shaving and avoiding a conversation about a little date you had with a guy from the neighbouring all boys school with anyone other than your own little group of friends otherwise you were automatically considered a Sl.. oh us girls, anyway, my group of girlies were pretty much obsessed with finding new great smelling stuffs, starting from body sprays and mists in year 7, Superdrug's own brand and So....? Kiss me/Sinful being a clear winner here; then along came year 10 and we were big girls now, no more training bras, hello boys and bye bye body sprays and hello Vera Wang Princess (which would of been included in this post, but it's at mothers, I might do my own little blog on my love for Vera Wang later on though, I have an unhealthy obsession) Anyhow, let's get cracking!

Miss Dior : Such a beautiful, sexy feminine fragrance. It lasts long on the body, which I hoped for due to the alarming price tag, and has got me a few compliments from people on a night out, which is always an added self-esteem boost. I tend to only wear this on special occasions though, as I think the scent is too elegantly rich for an everyday scent, that and I don't want to finish it so quickly. I think the bottle is cute and sophisticated looking too. If you're into sweet, feminine, flowery fragrances, I'll highly recommend it, it's not for everyone though so go to your local perfumey store and give it a bit of a wiff.

Valentino Valentina : Ahhhh, absolutely in love with this perfume. I received it as a gift on my birthday last year, and at first I was spraying it on myself like crazy, and when I noticed the perfume being half way down the bottle I had to regain some self control. It's so beautiful and feminine and soft enough to wear everyday, not over powering at all. The floral scents give it that sexy edge. It's very long lasting and so girly, also look at the bottle, beauty!

Marc Jacobs Daisy : The bottle is just so cute. The perfume is summery and confident. It's not too strong but again not too light, it's very long lasting and just so beautiful for night time. It has a fresh florally scent, that burst with femininity and fun but ravels with sexiness. Definitely my favourite summer time night time scent.

Jimmy Choo : I got this as a Christmas present last year, and to begin with, I was really unsure as to whether I liked it or not, this could of been because, I just got a little too used to my little Valentina. However, after using it a few times, it didn't take long for me to get addicted. Like the Valentina, it is very soft and can be worn everyday  It lasts ages on the clothes and body and the bottle is an absolute delight to have around in me little bedroom. The fragrance is girlie and sweet but very sophisticated and ridiculously sexy. The smell differs from other perfumes I've tried and tested as I normally go for the all girly scents, but with this, I feel like a lady.

Vivienne Westwood Naughty Alice : This is just an incredibly sexy fragrance, oh my. It's more of a powdery, musky scent but it's fun and flirtatious, not too sophisticated or serious and will just make you feel so girly and lovely. It does remind me of baby powder though, but that's not an issue as I do like the smell of baby powder quite a bit is that weird?  The scent is long lasting and I tend to wear it as an everyday perfume. However, I did get a tad bored of it, I've had it for a year and a half or so now, The reason being, the lovely Diesel perfume came into the picture, but it has been re-discovered and I have taken upon myself to spritz a little on myself right now, I can honestly say I am truly enjoying sniffing myself whilst writing this blog.

Chloe/Flight of Fancy/Diesel

Chloe Chloé : The newest to the family, I got this in July and I'm using it cautiously. This is such a beautiful perfume, not overpowering, It's light, not too sweet, It's a subtle feminine scent, great for daytime perfume or a date night. I am in love with it and have been wearing it quite a lot when it comes to special night outs. Very long lasting and such a romantic scent. This is what I believe Juliette (Romeo and Juliette) probably smelt like, subtle roses bursting with innocent femininity.

Anna Sui Flight of Fancy : As you can see, I only have a little bit left as I used this pretty much daily over the course of summer, but anyway, it's not an expensive perfume, therefore easy to replace. I got this in the summer, and me being more of a floral, feminine scent kinda gal and not really liking the whole fruity scents, I was surprised I liked this scent, It was quite sweet and fruity but with floral hints, I found it perfect for the Summer. It's fun and a happy scent, It smells fresh and clean, This is what I'd imagine unicorns smelling like, the only issue I have with it, is it doesn't last very long, after 30 minutes, I can no longer notice it, so I do what  I believe is the reason it's gone so quickly, spray some more.

Diesel Fuel for life: And last but not least, my lovely Diesel, this is my second purchase and it's nearly gone. I've been using this scent for a while now and  I always find myself coming back to it. It's not expensive, at a reasonable price compared to some *cough DIOR cough*. It's a very recognisable scent and lasts for absolutely ages. It's a innocent yet sensual, sexy smell, very attractive but I can't really describe it. It's not floral or fruity, powdery, yes, but I dunno, either way, it's a beautiful perfume and is my favourite to run back to. It can be used both daytime and evening, It's not overpowering, but you know it's there and when wearing it, prepare for the compliment galore. 

I am terribly bad at describing scents and perfumes, so I hope I got the point across (that I thoroughly enjoy spraying myself with these beauties) 

Things That Smell Amazing...

 Lee Stafford's Poker Straight hair :  With green tea extract heat protective agent for peace of mind when using hot straightening irons.

Before I begin, Let me just preach on how incredible the smell of this product is. Woah (smelling it now) it's absolutely beautiful. Not only is the smell amazing, but after spraying onto the barnet, your hair feels so smooth and sleek and shiny (and smells amazing). I bought the travel size, seen as boots were having a 3 for 2 thing going on and I didn't want to splurge out £5.99 in case I didn't like it. Also, as I said before, I destroyed my hair after a failed DIY ombre action and I had days where I wanted my hair to be straight, but was rather worried, what if it all fries off, not a good look, but I'm happy because this is a very good heat protectant, definitely going to repurchase a full sized one. 

TONI & GUY Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray : Creates texture and body 

with light to medium hold. Suitable for all hair types and perfect for achieving a lived in, beach look. Spritz evenly root to tip, on towel-dried or dry hair and work through to create tousled waves and natural movement.

I love this! It smells amazing (here she goes about the smell of things again) and does what it says a win win. I tried a number or texturising sprays - VO5 and that other one that I keep forgetting the name of - and they all felt sticky, and sometimes hardens your hair and leaves it feeling crispy, which I hate, but this just makes the hair look natural, we don't get beaches here in England, well we do, but unless you want to travel to Cornwall, the water here doesn't look very appealing and It's rarely sunny or hot to go to the beach in the first place :') But yes, I don't like the price tag that comes with the full size of this product though, £7, it's a bit pricey for what it is, but It is a very good product, hmmm...

 Soap and Glory Mist you Madely [hahaha so punny] : A flirty floral fragrant body spray

I enjoyed the title a bit too much before making my purchase, I have no idea why,  Buuut, (you guessed it) THIS SMELLS AWESOMES! I bought 3 more, because I just love spraying myself with it and it's only £3.50 and there's a 3 for 2 offer happening in Boots (take a breath) I just had to take the chance! My friend has the box set of these and you get 3 other scents, that are not sold individually, but I wasn't very fond of the other smells, so I'll just stick to this one hehe. I feel like a lady after I spray this, it smells so feminine and beautiful ahhh Soap and Glory, you never fail to please me.

The Single Girls To Do List : Review

Now I'm pretty sure that a some of you have experienced that horrible feeling of heartbreak, having to rely on Ben and Jerry's for comfort, sobbing in front of the mirror eating a massive slice of chocolate fudge cake (or this might just be me) having the urge to change your appearance, flicking through old photos of them 'happy days', aggressively Facebook/Twitter stalking...not that I did this, of course, loss of appetite, gain in appetite,  crying , feeling better then all a sudden your dad decides to buy you the cereals that he (the now ex) used to eat every morning and the tears start again, the tears will just keep making an appearance for a few days or more depending how bad the situation is... I never realised how good cats are at absorbing tears, until now. But when there's heartbreak, there's those who you love the most around you to help you get through it, These amazing people you ask? Your Best Buds of course!!...and family....or cats... (awks)

I purchased this book a week after me and the ex broke up and because it was a bit premature, I did have a little sob whilst reading, only for the first few pages though, I wasn't that much of an emotional wreck, gawsh gawys! This might of been because within the first pages, you have to follow through a break up and you just had yourself a break up.... memories can be a massive pain in the bottom sometimes. Reading on and I was really able to relate to the character, maybe it was because I was going through what she just went through either way, this book gave me some closure.

The Single Girls To Do List is absolutely hilaar! I absolutely loved all the main characters but Matthew has to be my favourite of them all, he somehow reminds me of one of my friends, bless him, I can't express how much I enjoyed this book, I finished it within a two days (it's not the longest of books) and I was upset when it ended as I just wanted my reading journey to begin all over again. I've never heard of Lindsey Kelk before, but after reading this book, I went out and purchased myself a few cheeky books from her I Heart series hehehehe.

As the Book is called the Single Girls To Do List, me and a buddy decided to conjure up my own little to do list as I thought, it was a bloody good idea! So this is my list:


I wrote this list at the end of September and can proudly say that the majority of the things on this list are COMPLETE *insert victory dance* Doing the list got my mind off the situation and got me busy and as I tend to be a rather competitive individual (I had to complete my new missions within a month) I was on it like a car bonnet (excuse the lame expression, it felt necessary). However, exercise is still in progress .... don't get me wrong, I tried jogging, but nearly collapsed to my death after 5 seconds of it.... and it's cold...

Overall I give the book a 5/5 because it was just brilliant, well written and entertaining, hats off to Lindsey Kelk! If you're into Chick Lit I guarantee you too will enjoy the book, go have a read.

Lush for Lads....

My brother has never been one of those guys that has been bothered to use facial products etc etc until he started going to college and got himself his first serious girlfriend, who in return introduced to him and made him fall in love with LUSH, who doesn't like a bit of Lush i don't blame him for loving their products, anyhow, whilst snooping around his room the other day, looking for my favourite hoody of his (I do love a good olde American Apparel hoody, SO SOFT!) I came across some products that he has been using recently and of course, I tried some of them out...

Well as I don't shave my face, I decided to test it on my legs, because you know, it's the most logical thing to do..... however, I couldn't go through with it as I hate the smell of this product... has to be said! I think if it was just lavender it would of been lovely but as it's a Lad thing, they added in Wheat-grass and I don't know, it just smelt funky, lovely moisturiser though, thank god it's not mine to use, the smell just puts me off. Bleugh! My brother said it's a rather fine moisturiser though, so if your boy toys birthday is coming up, it's been recommended ;)

 I loved this, my face felt sooo utterly smooth and soft, ahhh just the kind of TLC it needed. I have already planned to go out and get it soon which is exciting. And I don't know if it's just me, but i really do have a thing for the smell of Lime, it just makes everything smell so fresh and reliable and hygienic and healthy and clean and "it will possibly work" .... I think this might of taken the lead on the Facial Scrub department, kicking my beloved St Ives facial scrub out into the old, hmmm.

At first I thought this product was to fight oils on them troublesome oily spots on the face, but it's actually a 'spot treatment', the name was very misleading! but unfortunately I was unable to find a spot on my face so I couldn't test out the product myself, but after an interrogation from my brother about this product, he says "It works for me" and "yeah it's alright" (man with very little words, gosh) Well you heard it here first ladies, Grease Lightening does it's job, the spot job that is (still not over the misleading name, sort it out Lush) 

Oh I do love Lush!

Suhada Nature

My Mum just came back from holiday a few weeks ago and brought me back some goodies to try out and test, now I have never heard of this foreign brand but I must say, this exfoliating scrub and the face mask (ESPECIALLY) is bloody incredibubble. I applied them the same day I got them and I really couldn't stop stroking my face - once my hands got tired, my legs got in the stroking action to (don't judge I'm a little strange) - 

I kinda love the little pot they come in as well, it's the wood that does it for me -  the wooden lid you dirty sausage. I some what love the same, it smells quite coconutty but a bit, I dunno.... nice.

I like the texture of the face mask and exfoliator as well as it's not like the normal cream/gel based exfoliator/face mask you get, these products are powdery substances, well the face mask is powdery, the exfoliator is bits of powdery/shredded bits... anyway, you get the product and combine with Luke-warm water until creamy then BAM mixture is ready.

And I must agree, it (Suhada Nature Exfoliating Facial Scrub - Rice-Bamboo) does do wonders to my skin and makes it incredibly soft, however, I wouldn't recommend this to those who have oily skin, it says helps remove excess oils (liesss) but my t-zone (oily part of my face) felt very oily after using the exfoliator, it's very moisturising as well, but overall it is a rather dandy product, I do prefer the face mask however. Suhada just doesn't beat my trusty ST Ives exfoliator hehe.

Grazin'

This is, a Graze Box, and inside this wondrous, mysterious and somewhat very attractive box, we get FOOD, well, snacks. I first discovered Graze whilst opening my pretty pretty Company magazine and the little ad for the Grazin' company dropped out, so I was like hmmmmm, a free box of food, how can I say no to that. So I signed up a month ago and have been hooked by the scrumptious things this box gives me. But before they sent me one I had to rate what I'd like and what I didn't, making sure I don't receive anything I despise or pineapple due to allergies and from the rating I noticed how picky and fussy I was about food, oops. And so, a month and 5 boxes later, I decided to share my Graze experience and I might do a blog post of what I get weekly, if I'm bothered that is...

This was the content of my box this week and I must say, I really didn't like this box, compared to other boxes I got a few weeks ago, this was probably the worst. I only liked 1 thing from this box and could tolerate one other, the rest were just an insult to my taste buds. However, in the past I enjoyed the boxes I received, I mean it's not all going to include something that floats my boat and the best box was last weeks - Graze do really good FLAPJACKS and if they add in snazzy nuts in, it's a winning combination ooh and their Korean Chilli Crackers things A-MAZ-ING!

Excuse the pathetic-ness of the image thingy I tried to make, Photoshop was causing me a lot of misery with it loading EXTREMELY slow, so I had to go with the old fashioned root and use Paint, who knew the childhood 'hero' programme that kept me mentally sane during boring days (other than the Sims) actually came in handy after all. I do apologise for the horridness but you can always click to make it bigger surely ;)

In today's Graze box I got:

• Rock The Casbah - pumpkin seeds, walnuts and dates (tolerated)
• Love Mix - cherries, apricots and goji berries (I have no idea what goji berries are but I really didn't like this 'love mix thing')
• Honeycomb Flapjacks - rustic rolled flapjack with honeycomb and milk chocolate (must i say....it was a WIN) 
• and finally we have the worst of worst, just thinking about the taste makes me taste bud shiver Authentic Korai Chutney and Baked Curry Bits....never again.

Ooooh almost forgot to mention, with every box you receive, they give you one of these bad boys 

Don't know why but I always read sesame as semen hahaha

which I think is rather useful. And what's snazzier about the whole graze thing, is that it arrives through your letter box, making life a hell of a lot easier. I find it amusing like my postman is the magic graze fairy and when I wake up BAM, I got grazed ;)

I Think I'm In Love...

Ello guys, it's been a while *slowly diverting away from the fact that I broke my oath to blog on Saturday* I have been quite busy, seen as I haven't really been home since last Wednesday hehe.

I was wondering round my room today and thought, oh goodness, I have quite a few products I casually actually fallen in love with, BAZINGA let's blog about them. now the following products I am going to share a truly my all time favourite products that I have been crazily obsessed with ever since I bought them, now this blog is a tad long, but that's mainly because it's overloaded with big imagery also, i am a tad shit rubbish at reviewing and describing things so bare with me :) (oh and sorry about the picture quality, using the phone again. my brother has my camera)

1. St Ives Apricot Invigorating Scrub 150ML £1.97 (superdrug) I love love love it! It makes my face feel so smooth, like a baby's bottom, not that i touch babies bottom, that'll just be weird. after using this product my skin looks lovely and clean..

2. VO5 Give Me Moisture Conditioner 500 ml £1.95 (TESCO, they got an offer ;)) I recently bought this, mainly because i have become truely obssessed with VO5's products. i bought the shampoo as well, but I tend to condition more, I love stroking my hair after conditioning. this product is incredibubble! my hair has seem to have gotten a lot more moisturised and the feel it gives to my hair is wonderful. so soft and smooth also, it smells delightful.GRAZIA was right to recommend it ;)

3. Aussie Take The Heat Shampoo 300ML £3.99 (superdrug) 

The Australians have done me proud. i first found Aussie back in July, and ever since then we were inseparable, it was my bit on the side, don't let Elvive Nutri Gloss find out though shhh! (which is also an amazing brand, I love my shampoo's) the products smell absolutely incredible, and they leave your hair feeling all nourished and soft, nom nom nom. 

Aussie Dual Personality Heat Protection & Leave In Spray £3.99 (superdrug)  This is my ALL TIME favourite thing to use on me Barnet. it makes my hair feel so smooth and soft and the softness lasts for ages, and it does protect the hair from the mighty heat when blowing...blow drying. oh and did I mention it smells incredible too? I would highly recommend this product. 

VO5 Heat Defence Volume Whipped Mousse 200ml  £3.69 (boots) 

I bought this on Sunday actually. Now I love my mousses and I have left the shockwave curly thingy mousse tribe for the VO5 (because, as I said before, I have fallen in love with the VO5 product ranges) I was really, when I say really I mean REALLY amused by the way the mousse comes out of the can, it reminded me of whipped cream hehe. the product gives me VOLUME, long lasting hold on me curls and has defended me from the horridness of split ends. BOOYAH!

Vo5 Heat Protect Spray 200Ml £3.35 (Tesco)THIS PRODUCT IS A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. it smells sooo f&*%£"^$^^ing good! everyone who notices the smell of my hair (yes I do have freaks smelling my hair, that's my friends for you hehe) they compliment and ask what I use. my boyfriend loves smelling my hair because of this product. ahhh the smell is Viagra to the nose - other than the smell, the product is amazing with the HEAT and it makes the hair feel all smooth and snazzy, form everything I am going on about today, this is what I recommend the most :')

I have recently started using this product as my Soap and Glory bodaaay butter has ran out :( my mum got me this, and at first (because it didn't have a very exciting cover or whatever) I was like meh...but when I started using it, I figured DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER. Marks and Spencer did me good. not only does it smell incredible, but it makes the skin feel so soft and instantly relieves my skin from dryness, especially around my elbows. £2 and just found out they have a new design for the bottles, buying that!! (CHECK OUT THE NEW DESIGN)

I am torn that this body spray is on the verge of death. You do not understand how amazing it smells. wait, amazing is an understatement. AHHHHHHHH!! I don't know where you can get it from as I got it as a present, but one thing I can tell you, is that if you wear this fragrance thingy, people will not stop smelling you. this is my friends, boyfriend etc etc, favourite smell on me, they prefer it to my perfumes, poor Vera Wang. (AMAZON HAS IT, CLICK HERE) also, it stays on the clothes and the smell doesn't die out during the day. I'M IN LOVE! it's amazing, trust me, go buy and try, it won't disappoint, unless you're allergic to it that is....it smells so sexy.

Boots Natural Collection Passion Fruit Body Spray £2 (3 for 2) 

I bought this randomly on Sunday, mainly because I had money and I just wanted to buy something before all the shops closed, so I did. but I am not regretting, this thing is awesome. smells so lovely and fruity, if you like the whole fruity smell. it does make me hungry a bit, but I am sure I can substitute this for a bit until I get more of the Victoria Secret Fragrance Mist I so much adore :')

Charles Worthington Dry Shampoo £1.99 (Tesco) 

It's so cute and tiny, twas love at first sight I tell you. love stronger than Romeo and Juliet..deeeeep.it does what it says, after using it, my hair does feel superly refreshed and revived all day and as its small and compact, I can take it round in me bag, so cute.

Charles Worthington Volume Blow Dry Spray £1.99 (Tesco)

I LOVES IT! it really lifts up my roots when blow drying and gives my nest a luxurious VA-VA-VOOOM, body and bounce.

Born Lippy™ Strawberry Lip Balm £2 

I didn't know whether I should include this, but what the hell, I love this lippy balmy thing. it makes my lips all kissable and smooth, it also tastes really good, it also lasts quite a while, oh and I like the tint or redness it gives to the lips. twas defo worth the 2 squids!!

 Sure Fragrance Collection Bright 250ml  £3.99

this was so random but I am in LOVES with the smell. The purple one I had before is very sticky, and i was scared this would be too but it really isn't. so yeah, you now know how my pitts smell like...sexy stuff ;) oooh and this product really does protect for a very long time, good buy for the summer <3 

Soap & Glory™ The Righteous Butter™ Lotion 250ml £7 or something (BOOTS) 

so sad that it's nearly gone, this is my favourite body lotion EVER! it makes the skins so soft and smell so good. it reduced dryness from  my neglected parts (elbows, they're just effort) and makes them so smooth and soft, they feel loved hehe. i am going to buy more of this lovelyness tomorrow YEEEP.

Soap & Glory™ Thick & Fast™ Mascara False Lash Effect Mascara Superjet black  £10. 

this was random and probably doesn't fit, but I am soo happy I invested in this! as many might know, I love my mascara and this had made me happy. it makes my lashes look full and a bit longer. LOVE IT!

Ahhhh, that was successful hehe. yess these are my favourite products at the moment and I would really recommend all of them, they're all incredible products.
